They are going to republish translations of Russian books, make films, and restore historical routes from Russia to India. One of the first projects of the Center of the Russian Geographical Society in New Delhi is to publish the works of Russian travelers, that have never been published in the country before. “This is Andrey Snesarev (1865-1937), Innokenty Sibiryakov (1860-1901), someone else from our collections. Perhaps these will be albums of works dedicated to India by famous Russian artists, illustrations from books that described the travels of grand dukes and emperors to India,” Gurov added.
