The establishment of the new Center of the Russian Geographical Society in India opens up exciting prospects for Indian enthusiasts of Russia and its geography. It aims to provide a platform for individuals to bring their ideas to life, supported by the organizational and academic resources of the RGS."

"The Center of the Russian Geographical Society has started its work in the Indian capital New Delhi. Its opening ceremony took place within the framework of the forum "Under One Sun: Russia – India. Business and Culture". The center will help create new opportunities for Indians who love Russia and Geography and want to implement their ideas with the organizational and academic support of the RGS."  he added “This is Andrey Snesarev (1865-1937), Innokenty Sibiryakov (1860-1901), someone else from our collections. Perhaps these will be albums of works dedicated to India by famous Russian artists, illustrations from books that described the travels of grand dukes and emperors to India,"
